Waste to Energy
Syngas Production & Clean Energy
VusiTK specializes in converting waste materials into synthetic gas (syngas) through advanced waste-to-energy technologies. This process dramatically reduces landfill waste while producing usable, clean energy, addressing two of South Africa's most pressing challenges simultaneously.
Our waste-to-energy process uses proven thermochemical conversion technology to transform municipal solid waste, industrial waste, and biomass into synthetic gas. Syngas can be used as a direct energy source for power generation, industrial heating, or further refined into hydrogen and other green fuels. This positions VusiTK at the intersection of waste management and renewable energy, a high-growth sector aligned with South Africa's energy transition ambitions.

VusiTK undertakes a broad portfolio of building construction projects, from residential homes to commercial facilities and industrial structures. Quality, compliance, and client satisfaction drive every build.
Our construction division handles structural construction from foundation to finish, renovations and upgrades of existing facilities, comprehensive project management, and quality control processes that ensure compliance with South African National Standards (SANS). We partner closely with clients from concept to handover.

Municipal solid waste, industrial by-products, and biomass are collected and sorted to separate organic and combustible materials from recyclables and hazardous items.
Pre-Treatment & Preparation
Sorted waste is shredded, dried, and processed to achieve optimal feedstock consistency required for efficient thermochemical conversion.
Gasification / Pyrolysis
The prepared waste is subjected to high-temperature thermochemical conversion in a low-oxygen environment, breaking down complex organic molecules into syngas (CO, H₂, CH₄).
Gas Cleaning & Refinement
Raw syngas is cleaned of particulates, sulphur, and contaminants to meet quality standards for energy use. Residuals are managed according to environmental regulations.

Our flagship project developing a scalable waste-to-syngas facility aimed at addressing South Africa's dual challenges of waste management and energy generation. This initiative converts municipal and industrial waste streams into synthetic gas for power and heating applications.
The project is designed to demonstrate the commercial viability of waste-to-energy technology in the South African context, with long-term ambitions to scale into a distributed network of conversion facilities. It aligns directly with national renewable energy targets and forms the cornerstone of VusiTK's growth strategy. The facility will incorporate gas cleaning, energy capture, and environmental monitoring systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
A series of civil engineering contracts targeting road construction, site preparation, and drainage infrastructure across the Gauteng region. VusiTK is positioned to participate in government infrastructure procurement through tender processes.
This programme includes road construction and maintenance projects, bulk earthworks and site preparation for new developments, and stormwater drainage system installations. Our civil division is equipped with excavators, loaders, and support machinery ready for mobilisation. We are actively pursuing tender opportunities with municipalities and private developers.
VusiTK's construction division is actively pursuing residential, commercial, and industrial build contracts, offering full-scope project management from structural foundation through to handover.
