This policy explains how VusiTK PTY LTD (“VusiTK”, “we”, “us”) handles the personal information you give us through the enquiry form on www.vusitk.co.za. We process personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Who is responsible

VusiTK PTY LTD (Registration No. 2017/421574/07) is the responsible party. Our registered address is 4 Pybus Road, Sandton Central, Johannesburg, South Africa.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry we collect the details you enter: your name, company or organisation, email address, phone/WhatsApp number, the type of enquiry, the project details you provide (such as location, feedstock, scope, size, timeline) and your message. If you attach a document, we receive that file and its contents.

Our anti-spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) and our host (Vercel) also process limited technical data such as your IP address and browser information to keep the form secure and available.

Why we use it and on what basis

We use your information solely to assess your enquiry, prepare a response or quote, and communicate with you about it. This processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a possible contract, and to pursue our legitimate business interest in responding to enquiries. We do not use your details for marketing and we do not sell or rent them.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers (“operators”) that help us run the form and our email, each bound to process it only on our instructions:

• Vercel Inc., Website hosting and server logs (United States). Terms
• Resend (Plus Five Five, Inc.), Delivery of quote-enquiry emails (United States). Terms
• Cloudflare, Inc., Turnstile anti-spam check on the quote form (United States). Terms

Some of these providers are located outside South Africa. Where that is the case, the transfer is protected by the provider’s data processing terms, which provide a comparable level of protection as required by POPIA. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails and any attachments for 24 months from the date of your enquiry, after which they are deleted, unless we need to keep them longer to conclude a contract or to comply with a legal obligation.

Your rights

You may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, or to object to our processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact our Information Officer at info@vusitk.co.za. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
